Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Social Pilot is a private, single-owner tool operated by its owner to manage the owner's own YouTube and TikTok channels. Questions: support@socialpilotlite.com.
2. What we access
Only after you (the account owner) grant access through Google's or TikTok's own consent screen, Social Pilot can:
- YouTube / Google: upload and update videos and thumbnails on your channel, read your channel and video statistics and YouTube Analytics reports, and read, reply to, hide or delete comments on your videos.
- TikTok: read your basic profile (display name) and follower/like totals, list your videos with their view, like, comment and share counts, and post videos to your account.
3. What we store
- OAuth tokens that let the tool act on your accounts until you revoke them. They are kept in encrypted-at-rest Cloudflare storage and are never shown, logged or shared.
- The video files you upload for publishing, their titles, descriptions, tags and the resulting platform IDs and links.
- Performance metrics (views, likes, comments, watch time, retention) fetched from the platforms, kept as time series.
- Operational records: an audit log of actions with secrets removed, notes and experiment results written by the owner, and spend records.
We do not store the contents of other people's comments beyond showing them to the owner at the moment of request, and we do not collect data about your viewers other than the aggregate statistics the platforms provide.
4. How we use it
Solely to publish your videos, measure their performance and help you improve them. We do not sell data, show ads, build profiles of third parties, or transfer data to third parties other than the infrastructure providers needed to run the tool (Cloudflare) and the platforms you connected (Google/YouTube, TikTok).
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Social Pilot's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the user-facing features described above, is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI/ML models, and is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features or to comply with law.
YouTube data is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. TikTok data is subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy.
6. Retention, revocation and deletion
You can revoke access at any time: Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and websites. Revoked tokens stop working immediately. To have your stored data (tokens, uploaded files, metrics, records) deleted, email support@socialpilotlite.com; we delete it within 30 days. Uploaded video files are removed from storage on request.
7. Security
Access to the tool is protected by authentication; secrets are held as encrypted platform secrets and are redacted from logs. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The tool is not directed at children and is not offered to anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision.
